- Much Happier, Obedient Boy
I have a large 1 year old German Shepard that was dealing with fear based aggression, and some major fence fighting with the dog next door. After spending 6 weeks with Johanna, I can honestly say each issue was addressed and totally cleared up! He has learned manners and is a much happier, obedient boy. I learned so much myself and feel much more confident handling him! I would absolutely recommend Johanna to anyone and in fact I already have!

Hope all is well! I just want to give you an update about Sweet Pea. She is doing so amazing! She still goes to work with me everyday. She’s with us 90% of the time. Everyone that meets her absolutely adores her. She is very well behaved and obedient. She’s a completely different dog compared to how she was when we adopted her in December. Johanna is a fantastic trainer! We cannot recommend her enough! We went to Johanna for training with our 3 year old female German Shepherd. She had fear-based aggression and lots of anxiety. She would lunge, growl, and bark at other dogs. She was also terrified of most people. It was almost impossible to take her on walks. With Johanna’s help and expertise, she completely changed our dog! Johanna is extremely knowledgeable and experienced. It’s clear from how she approaches training that she truly cares about the long-term well-being of the dogs. She balances positive reinforcement with discipline and obedience, when necessary. She really goes above and beyond with checking in on progress and tailoring her training to the dog’s personality and the owner’s goals. We now can walk with our dog on and off leash, she’s much better with other dogs, and we have techniques to use when she gets anxious. Johanna was the best! We are so grateful. Johanna is a great coach to work with, she is patient and really helped train me to be a better pet owner for my Charlie boy. Charlie was having issues with fear aggression. After our training was completed, I was able to have strangers come into our home without Charlie growling or snapping at them. Charlie also learned a few more manners that had been difficult to teach as he is a very spoiled puppy. He is a much better boy all the way around and our other puppy has picked up on the training as well. I highly recommend K-9 Coach to anyone looking for training, it is money well spent!!!

Hi there, Johanna! It’s Katie and Lukas! I wanted to drop you a quick little note to thank you for all you did for me and Lukas last summer. The training and tips you gave me honestly changed my dog and the relationship we have. Lukas is nearing his second birthday, and he is a completely different dog than the one I bought a year ago, and it is all thanks to you. For a week at Christmas, Lukas was around about 20 people and 3 different dogs, and he was the most well behaved of everyone – dogs and humans included. I can take him anywhere and everywhere. My brother and sister in law have a newborn baby, and I was a little worried about taking Lukas around him, but Lukas did wonderful – so sweet and gentle. I can’t thank you enough for everything!
